Sabeto Shield Coating is best known as a roof protection solution, but it is also suited to operational environments where floors, walkways, ramps and other surfaces are exposed to wear, moisture and daily use. With added sand, the coating can form part of a more slip-resistant and robust surface designed to support both safety and day-to-day operation.

Sabeto Shield Coating is widely used for roof protection, but it can also be applied in other professional environments where surfaces need protection against moisture, wear, weather and everyday traffic.

In operational environments, floors, ramps and walkways are often exposed to moisture, wear and constant traffic. Sabeto Shield Coating can form part of a surface protection system designed to support ongoing use and simplify maintenance over time.
When combined with sand, the system can also help create more slip-resistant surfaces in selected areas such as pedestrian routes, access points and work zones.
Lightweight build-up, durable protection
Sabeto Shield Coating forms part of a lightweight, water-based coating system that protects the surface without adding unnecessary structural load. A typical build-up consists of a primer and two coating layers, with a total material consumption of approximately 1.2 kg/m².
Typical Sabeto Shield Coating build-up:
- Primer: improves adhesion and prepares the substrate
- First coat of Sabeto Shield Coating: forms an elastic, seamless and watertight membrane
- Second coat of Sabeto Shield Coating: provides the final protective layer against wear, moisture and weather exposure
- Typical system weight: approximately 1.2 kg/m² for two coats
Typical values at approximately 23°C and 50% relative humidity. Consumption and drying times depend on the substrate, layer thickness, temperature and humidity.
