What is ElaProof PRO S?

ElaProof PRO S is a water-based, spray-applied elastic coating for professional waterproofing and surface protection projects. It is particularly suited to larger areas where fast, even and controlled application is essential.

The coating forms a flexible, seamless membrane and can be used in systems requiring waterproofing, protection and elastic surface treatment on suitable substrates. The substrate, film thickness, application method and project conditions must always be assessed before use.

Product highlights

  • • Water-based, single-component elastic coating
  • • Spray-applied solution for larger areas
  • • Forms a flexible, seamless membrane
  • • Suitable for professional coating and waterproofing projects
  • • CE marked as a construction product under EN 13813 and EN 1504-2
  • • Requires correct substrate preparation before application
  • • Can be used as part of professional encapsulation systems for asbestos-containing roof surfaces
  • Equipment note: When using larger pack sizes and spray application, suitable professional spray equipment, hose and nozzle are required.

    Areas of application

ElaProof PRO S can be used on suitable substrates where a spray-applied elastic coating is required for larger surfaces, waterproofing or protection.

    Typical applications include:

    1. Larger roof areas
    2. Continuous coating surfaces
    3. Professional waterproofing projects
    4. Surface protection on suitable substrates
    5. Renovation projects where spray application offers an advantage
    6. Professional encapsulation of asbestos-containing roof surfaces by certified specialists

The substrate must be stable, clean and suitable for the selected system build-up. Film thickness, coverage and any reinforcement requirements must be assessed according to the application and project conditions.

    A typical workflow includes:

    1. Inspect and prepare the substrate
    2. Remove dust, dirt and loose material
    3. Apply primer or other surface preparation where required
    4. Apply ElaProof PRO S using suitable spray equipment
    5. Reinforce cracks, joints or other exposed details where required
    6. Check film thickness, coverage and finish

    Application notes

  • ElaProof PRO S must be applied using suitable professional spray equipment and should be installed by contractors experienced in spray-applied coating systems.

Reinforcement tape or another suitable reinforcement may be required between coats around cracks, joints and other critical details.

Apply only under suitable temperature and substrate conditions. Always consult the technical data sheet before use.
