What is EasyFLEX Flamesure?
EasyFLEX Flamesure is a fire-retardant membrane for professional system build-ups requiring a lightweight, flexible and technically documented fire barrier.
The material consists of a woven fibreglass substrate coated on one side with a halogen-free, low-smoke fire-retardant compound. Depending on the construction and documented application, it can be used as a fire barrier in membrane systems, façade build-ups, cladding and composite solutions.
Flamesure has been tested in accordance with EN 13501-1 and achieves an A1 reaction-to-fire classification for the documented application. The system build-up, fixing method, overlap, substrate and documentation requirements must always be assessed for the individual project.
Product highlights
Areas of application
EasyFLEX Flamesure is used in professional system build-ups requiring a fire-retardant membrane or fire barrier as part of the complete construction.
The product is particularly relevant where fire performance, smoke development, vapour openness and secondary protection against weather exposure form part of the project assessment.
Typical applications include:
- Membrane systems
- Façade build-ups
- Cladding solutions
- Composite systems
- Constructions requiring a lightweight, flexible fire barrier
- Projects where documented reaction-to-fire performance is part of the material specification
The specific application must always be assessed according to the construction, substrate, fixing method, overlap, exposure and documentation requirements.

How to use the product
EasyFLEX Flamesure is used as a fire-retardant membrane or fire barrier in professional system build-ups where its function forms part of the complete construction.
The material must be adapted and installed according to the specific solution, including the construction type, fixing method, overlaps, exposure and documentation requirements. Supplied in rolls, it can be integrated into systems where a lightweight, flexible fire-retardant membrane is required.
The installation principle, joints and terminations must always be selected according to the project requirements and the documented application.
Application notes
EasyFLEX Flamesure must be stored and handled correctly before installation. Keep rolls flat with protected cut edges in their original packaging until the material is required.
Protect the product from dust, heat, moisture, direct sunlight and solvent vapours during storage. When stored correctly in unopened packaging, the stated shelf life is at least five years.
Always consult the technical data sheet and relevant fire-performance documentation before use.
