SabetoFLEX Silencer Set and Roof Penetration

13/04/2024

SabetoFLEX silencer sets and roof penetrations are designed for ventilation, extraction, air intake and exhaust applications where easy roof-level installation, flexible detailing and straightforward handling all matter.

Easier installation directly from the roof

Roof work is simpler when the components are easy to handle, adapt and install. That is why SabetoFLEX silencer sets and roof penetrations are designed to be fitted from above and adjusted to the specific roof and application.

They provide a practical combined solution for ventilation ducts, air intake and exhaust points, bringing together the roof penetration, flashing and sound reduction in one build-up.

A practical system with built-in flexibility

The SabetoFLEX silencer set and roof penetration are made up of several components that work together as one flexible, practical solution.

The system can be adapted to most roof types and pitches, while the Flex flashing is compatible with a wide range of common roofing materials. The flashings are available in black, grey and tile red, making it easier to match the finished installation to the roof.

When installed in accordance with the current installation instructions, the solution may be covered by a warranty of up to 20 years.

Why is the system supplied unassembled?

The system is delivered in separate parts because this makes it easier to work with on site.

Smaller components are easier to handle, transport and carry onto the roof. They also take up less space in transit, which helps reduce the risk of transport damage.

For the installer, there is another practical benefit: when the system is assembled directly on the roof, it is easier to see and control the work being carried out below the penetration.

PIB Flex Flashing Without PFAS or Hazardous Substances

SabetoFLEX Flex flashing is made from PIB, a flexible material that contains no PFAS or hazardous substances.

This means the flashing does not release harmful substances into rainwater or contribute to groundwater contamination. For buildings where rainwater management, drainage and material choice matter, this is an important part of the overall solution.
