Rigid protection can become the weak point
Tank insulation systems are often most vulnerable where the construction changes shape. Joints, terminations, studs, pipes, flanges, brackets and transitions all have to accommodate movement while continuing to keep moisture out.
HankoFLEX® uses a flexible membrane-based outer layer together with specially adapted PIB details around critical areas. This creates a more coherent system that can follow complex geometry and protect the insulation against moisture, weather, UV exposure and mechanical impact.
